Our approach.
We believe in the deep interconnection between People and Places.
We believe that the ability of humanity to survive, and to thrive begins with our respectful and informed engagement with our natural environment.
For us, thriving regional and rural communities are those where:
Our unique environment and history - particularly our indigenous history - is valued and respected
All are valued for their unique qualities and contributions
Safety is prioritised for everyone - especially the most vulnerable amongst us
Everyone has the opportunity to experience joy, to feel safe, to enjoy emotional and physical health, and to delight in creativity.
We support people who seek to make the world a kinder and more caring place for all.
We support organisations looking to empower people and improve local environments to help communities to truly thrive.
Through our work and our grants, we look to :
alleviate disadvantage, enable potential and help build resilience and positivity - particularly for children from disadvantaged communities and women who may be at risk of experiencing violence.
restoration of lands, including native flora and fauna and its unique biodiversity.
enable sustainable agriculture to work side-by-side with the preservation of our native species, whilst nourishing people and planet endlessly into the future.
Within Australia, we have a particular focus on regional and rural areas and a focus on driving change in south-eastern New South Wales’ Shoalhaven region.
Internationally, we focus on providing support through ongoing relationships of trust to well-established organisations working with the most disadvantaged communities.
Changing the future starts right here, right now.
